I am a former freelance photographer, designer and writer based in Singapore.

After graduating with an Economics degree in 2009, I worked as a journalist in The Straits Times—Singapore's national paper—for several years, gaining valuable experience in writing, copyediting, photography, data visualisation and graphic design. I then worked in the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech) as a consultant for two years, working on open data initiatives for the Singapore government, including open data portal data.gov.sg.

In 2017, I decided to start my own gig to pursue my interest in photography, visual design and writing. I regularly shot for The Straits Times and other Singapore Press Holdings publications on a freelance basis.

I’m now learning to become a secondary school educator.
